Anna Marsiana has 25 years of proven working experience in the area of development work, ranging from grassroot- organizing, NGO managing, providing training on quite wide range of sustainable-development related issues, providing consultancy on project planning, monitoring and evaluation and organizational development, doing project and organization evaluation, and facilitating many international-national-local forums.
Anna Marsiana is known as very excellent facilitator for strategic planning and for national and international forums, as she is able to listen to different opinions, asking right questions to sharpen the discussion, and synthesize the discussions in brief and yet satisfying way.
Her area of expertise is on Organizational Development, Knowledge Management, and Gender Mainstreaming, including but not limited to gender and sexual rights.
Anna also has long experience of working with European church-based donors both as country coordinator (HEKS-Switzerland, 2004-2009) and as Capacity Building Program Director (EED, 2010-2013), and now as consultant (BfdW, 2014-present), that made her very knowledgeable, with first-hand experience about funding policies in Europe, donor regulations.
Anna has been always actively involved in social movement for more than 25 years. That means she is always updated with the social-political issue in the country, the civil society movement in the country, and has wide range of network, both in ecumenical and secular organizations as well, a very important background to provide perspective in her work.
